Public Awareness Programme – 2008

The National Service Scheme (NSS) unit of SKBR College, Amalapuram and Institute of Pacticing Homoeopathy (IPH) jointly organised an awareness programme to the volunteers and Public at a rural village, Peruru of East Godavari District of Andhra Pradesh. Mr. K. V. V. SATYANARAYANA, Programme officer NSS Unit – I inaugurated the programme. Dr. B. S. MOHAN, Director, IPH, was the chief guest and speaker of the day, explained the things behind health, maintaining the health, requirement of healthy place and Life style. Along with the lifestyle he stressed the need and importance of Hereditary, Environment, Profession, Income, Family relation, Health & Family Planning, Socio economic status and activities of Local Governments in maintaining One’s Health status. He introduced Homoeoapthy to the gathering with its Origin, Principles, Specialities, Advantages, importance in present day’s health care.
Volunteers of NSS Unit I and the residents of the Peruru village participated the programme. IPH also distributed the informative leaflets on “ YOU – YOUR DOCTOR”, “WHAT TO SAY TO HOMOEO DOCTOR ON CONSULTATION ” and “information on Homoeopathy” Various question from the gathering were answered and explained in detail by the chief guest.
